The primary objective of the open position is the evaluation and monitoring of insurance portfolios as well as the implementation of Group wide standards with a special focus on technical provisions and risk evaluation of the Austrian business units.

Non-Life Actuary (m/f/d)

Your main responsibilities

  • Collaboration and implementation of Group standards in the Austrian business units
  • Calculation of claims reserves in different GAAPs (UGB, IFRS, Solvency II)
  • Support in the parameterization for our partial internal model resp. standard approach
  • Collaboration in group-projects
  • Further development of existing tools & DWH (Excel, VBA, SAS, R)
  • Know-How transfer & training within the Group

Your qualification

  • Actuarial Education (insurance mathematics / statistics/ quantitative background),
  • 2-3 years of working experience preferably in claims reserving and/or Solvency 2
  • Knowledge of basic modeling techniques in Non-Life preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting regimes (UGB, IFRS, Solvency II) would help
  • Excellent know-how of MS Office and at least one script language (VBA, R or Python)
  • Good knowledge of data handling (SAS or SQL)
  • Fluent in English and German, CE language of advantage

Annual minimum wage according to collective agreement: EUR 39.000 - gross. We are prepared to exceed depending on qualification and experience.
